Ruth O’Mara

Ruth O’Mara has been bringing art education to children and adults in schools and art centers since 1995. She has been awarded several local and state cultural council artist in residency grants over the years and is passionate about enriching lives through individual and community art projects. She enjoys handbuilding with ceramics and painting with acrylics. Her work is inspired by nature and architecture.

Ruth has been teaching children’s clay classes at Baltimore Clayworks since 2021. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, shows, and contemporary craft stores in the United States and Italy.
