Reflection

My painting reflects my concern of rising sea levels due to climate change and general deterioration of the living environment of our sea animals. The octopus and anglerfish are watching the sea water level rise from a discarded TV in the bottom of the ocean. They are adapting and using the trash to create their new habitat and take advantage of what, us humans, have left behind. Often we wonder how climate change will affect us. Have we thought about the threat it created to all species of animals living in the ocean? I believe there is a real urgency to marine conservation and to preserve the habitat for ocean animals.
