Reflection

This piece is a warning that I’m sending to people who've heard of global warming but think it’s none of their business. I thought it’d be meaningful if I expressed the seriousness of temperature changes to raise awareness. To do so, I painted Mt. Rushmore sinking in the water due to rising sea levels. People are trying to restore the eroded and cracked Mt. Rushmore, but it's like a bottomless pit unless the sea levels miraculously decrease. It’s like we’re hurting the earth gradually, but to the earth, it's like a continuous and endless pain. We can’t go back to where we were once we push the earth to its limit.
