Reflection

For years I have been approaching the idea of climate change in different perspectives and ways, yet this year’s competition theme inspired me to travel down a path completely new to me that I have never considered before: and that is climate change through positivity and entertainment. By creating an interactive chessboard with complementing pieces designed to represent the two sides of climate change, I hope to inspire many who grew up and are familiar with the game. Furthermore by presenting this global crisis in a less graphic and distressing way, I am also determined to enliven the troubled concept of climate change. Only together can we create an impact and work to resolve global warming and climate change into a footnote in history, instead of presenting them as a header for the future
