Reflection

This art piece displays a boy mischievously looking at his birthday cake, which has candles on fire. Parts of the cake are melting, as well as the candles. Taking a closer look, the candles look like animals that have fallen in danger due to climate change, and the cake represents Earth. As I was drawing this piece, I felt as if humans are viewing climate change as a light subject similar to how it is represented in my art piece.
