Climate Hero: Jocelyn Augustino, FEMA
Reflection

The idea of the piece was ignited after seeing the various photographs of climate change and natural disasters. A FEMA photographer, Jocelyn Augustino’s photographs of natural disasters helped me realize the importance of expressing the trouble our world is going through. While researching about climate change, I found it significant that different parts of the world are going through different disasters at the same time. While floods are the main source of trouble in some areas, others areas are experiencing excessive droughts and are desperate of water. Through this piece, I wanted to illustrate how climate change affects all parts of the world in different ways.
