Climate Hero: Vanessa Nakate
Reflection

This is a drawing inspired by Vanessa Nakate, who is a Ugandan climate change activist. In this drawing she is pulling all the rubbish from the oceanarium floor. She has contributed a lot to fighting climate change, one of the things she has done is a project to install solar panels on rural Ugandan schools, which is why there are solar panels on the houses in the corner of my drawing. I have learned, while researching about climate change that it is much more dire than I thought which is why I always do as much as I can for our earth. Things as simple as reusing a plastic bag for your shopping helps a lot! It is also really important to pick up litter when you see it.
