Hello! I would describe myself as a smart, fun-loving girl with a curious mind. I am very passionate about protecting the environment. When I see dirty beaches, polluted waters, landfills, it makes me very sad, and I feel deeply ashamed that we humans have done this to our world. I am a vegetarian and lead a lifestyle with minimal carbon footprint (my parents completely support me in this).
I made this movie “Plastic – Boon to bane”, to inspire people to be more environmental-friendly. I wanted them to start sympathizing with the nature, and work towards a greener future.
The two movies that touched me deeply are “Titanic” and “Avatar”. In both these movies, they show a perfect world and then how it gets destroyed in front of our eyes. I wanted that effect on my audience. So, I started off my movie with the perfect ocean, ideal world scenario and then showed how we are ruining everything. Then, when the audience gets connected to the nature and feels for it, I wanted to give suggestions and ideas in what ways they can get involved in restoring nature back to original glory! If at least 10% of my audience change their ways for good, I would feel my task accomplished!!
