Reflection

I was inspired to make this artwork to show people how climate change affects all life on earth, and that it is caused by people’s daily activities. It makes me sad knowing that the burning of fossil fuels, which people use every day, is destroying the earth and its oceans. My painting shows how climate change is drying up land, leaving animals with little habitat to survive. The animals make a stack on top of the little puddle of water to escape from climate change. At the very top, a monkey reaches for a butterfly as a symbol of hope. I hope that through this painting I can inspire others to take action.
