Reflection

Climate change terrifies me. It makes me fear that the thing I love so dearly will one day no longer exist. I have always been fascinated with the ocean despite living so far away from it. However, due to scuba diving, I am able to feel connected with it. I am able to see the effects of climate change and human impact firsthand. I hope with my film I will in some way show others this. I hope to make others see the beauty of the ocean and fall in love with it the same way I have. Climate change also frustrates me because to ever fully solve it, everyone needs to contribute. But what frustrates me most about climate change is that people dismiss it because they believe it will have no impact in their lifetime. But this is simply not true. The ocean is a fragile ecosystem that is devastated by the slightest temperature variations. But it's also an ecosystem that we are completely reliant upon.
