Reflection

I wanted to enter this contest and music was the category that spoke to me. To create my submission, I chose to do a parody of "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles because I had just started learning it, and because I like The Beatles. To start, I first printed out the lyrics of the original song and figured out how many syllables are in each line. Then I researched effects of climate change on the oceans and wrote down some important topics such as ocean acidification and the warming/rising of the oceans. Before I made this song, I thought climate change was all about global warming and pollution. I’ve learned that climate change really affects the oceans and the animals. It is annoying to me that it seems like most people don’t care about climate change even at the presidential level (as you’ll notice the sub parody in my video).
