Climate Hero: Shelley Bennett, The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center
Reflection
Reflection

Shelly's research first drew me in because it related to the Chesapeake Bay, which I wanted to learn more about. During this process, I learned a lot about animation and music creation, and I also learned about microclimates and the Chesapeake's climate. Shelly shared advice for students like me, which was for building connections. I found that helpful, in particular, because I don’t have a lot of connections right now, but I’m trying to build them, in part as I do more projects on my own.
