Reflection

Through this short video, I wanted to show how quickly the North Atlantic Right Whale will slip away if we don't take action. I painted watercolor pictures and compiled them together to create a stop-animation video. I used watercolor as my medium because watercolor can easily be messed up if not applied carefully. This relates to the whale because it shows that we need to be delicate with our future actions in order to have a chance of saving them. The second that the eye closes, the whale sinks to the bottom of the ocean, and only when it has died we realize what has happened. But it will be too late to do anything. In the future, I will try to spread awareness about the whale and get more people to think about what they can do to help the North Atlantic Right Whale.
