Assembly Line to Extinction

Reflection
I painted a line of penguins being poured out of their regular, icy “habitat” in the glass of ice water and falling into a cup of steaming tar. The actions are done by human hands, and those hands are leading the penguins to their death. This represents how we are forcing penguins out of their habitat and lifestyle they have had for many of years. Not only are we altering their lifestyle, we are destroying their homes, and slowly turning their environment into a steaming nightmare full of darkness, similar to tar. This species has in no way done us any harm, and may soon be extinct because of the reckless decisions of humans. The thickening masses of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere may change not only our lives, but also the lives of penguins and many other helpless species falling victim to our poor choices.
