Reflection
Water flows through countless of my joyful memories. From jumping around in the aftermath of tearful skies to discovering a new world with beautiful creatures just by holding my breath. Every time I travel, we visit a beach, a lake, or a pool. My swimsuit is the first thing I pack in my suitcase. Water has constantly been my supporter and a major part of my childhood. However, the hope of sharing my delightful experience with water to future generations dwindles away as the amount of plastic in the ocean grows, as the sea levels become higher and higher drowning islands and coasts, as the seas get hotter and unsuitable for the underwater world that belongs there, and as we overfish and kill all the sea creatures that once ruled this underwater world. My hope is to share my experiences with future generations. I hope that this painting will inspire people to begin working to stop the destruction of our oceans before it is too late.
