Reflection
I have always loved to write songs and I saw this as the perfect opportunity to write a song that could potentially inspire so many people to take better care of our oceans. The most important lesson viewers can gain is to understand that the teenagers in our generations hold the power to save the world. We must fight to protect our home and the animals inside of it before it’s too late. I have always been fascinated with those types of topics, but while gathering resources to write this song, I realized that if we don’t do something about this soon, my children won't live in the beautiful world that you and I grew up in. I have acknowledged that my generation is incredibly strong. I am constantly shocked everyday by how much passion my friends have for standing up for what's right. I am hopeful that we will make an impact. I have and will continue to ALWAYS recycle, to never allow someone to treat the planet badly if I am witnessing it, to limit car usage, etc. I have always been advocating for my community because starting small is the beginning to a huge success. I hope to inspire many people my age and older with my song.
