Reflection

The green sea turtle is a truly amazing creature. It is both highly fascinating and essential to the wellbeing of the ocean. However, this animal is being harshly affected by climate change. In my song “Change the Sea Turtle’s Fate” I hope to bring awareness to the beauty of the green sea turtle, the terrible harm we humans are causing this animal, and what we can all do each day to change the situation. Because of what I learned by writing this song, I am personally taking actions to decrease my carbon footprint, because I care deeply about the fate of the sea turtles. I encourage others to do so—if not for the sea turtles, then for yourself! Global warming affects us all. We must create change.
