Reflection

Climate change is not only a scientific phenomenon but a deeply human one, affecting lives, communities, and the very fabric of our existence. Although climate change does not drastically affect my community — the California Bay Area — as much as other areas due to our advanced technology and legislation, ultimately we still feel its effects on the microscale. As I’ve seen, this means the inconvenient fusion of seasonal temperatures to the extent of which we can no longer adequately prepare or predict weather patterns. Personally, this leaves my closet in immense disarray — I can no longer plan what to wear, as my seasonal clothing blends together with the climate.
