Prithvi sundarata, suraksha saarthakam,
Vanyajeev raksha, jal sanrakshanam.
Samriddhi sadhayitum paryavaran mein,
Sankalpo hi yogya pratijeevane.
Translation:
In the ongoing climatic change Beautiful Earth, worthy of protection,
Preserving wildlife, safeguarding water.
To achieve prosperity in the environment,
Resolution is essential for sustainable living.
In a world of wonder, where rivers flow,
Children rise up, let their voices show,
They’re the Earth’s defenders, strong and true,
With hearts so pure, they’ll protect it too.

Reflection
Can a small girl alone battle climate change? My reply is: "Where there is a will to bring about change, you will always find a way." Hi, I'm Manya Harsha, a young change maker, battling against climate change since the age of four. I plunged into this fight against climate change inspired by nature & the stories of my grandmother. The only strength I believe in is #YouthPower. Children are the face of change. We can and we will bring change together. I started my environmental activities from scratch, taking it slow but never pausing over these ten years. This inspired me to write a song to inspire the Children - The Earth's defenders. As a strong believer in youth and children’s roles in climate action, I have conducted various workshops, seminars, and campaigns in several government schools and Montessori schools across Bengaluru. The goal is to impart environmental consciousness to children at a very young age. I believe children’s climate activism is a powerful force, fueled by a genuine concern for the planet’s future. We, young activists, are resolute in demanding action against climate change, recognizing that our generation will bear the brunt of its consequences. I stand for my planet. Do you?
