Reflection

My film is a video of myself drawing twine around my neck. Towards the end of the video I surround the twine with black paint to present the illusion of a squeezed neck. So many marine animals become entangled because of human waste, and so I attempted to show people what it would look like if this happened to a human. Humans react differently to other humans being choked than animals, and I wanted to capture this attention and turn it to marine creatures so that people paid equal attention to the atrocities happening to them.
