Climate change and its consequences on the Caspian Sea.

Climate change is currently the most pressing issue. As a result, we may lose some water bodies due to high temperatures in Kazakhstan and beyond. One of Kazakhstan's assets is the Caspian Sea, which has oil deposits nearby. Oil negatively affects the climate by emitting greenhouse gases, thus raising atmospheric temperatures. Higher temperatures lead to increased evaporation, primarily affecting the Caspian Sea. In my artwork, there are hourglasses in the foreground, symbolizing the passage of time. Inside the hourglasses, you can see a small amount of polluted water flowing upwards into the sky, indicating evaporation. Below the hourglasses, oil is dripping and it is one of the factors contributing to temperature rise. Despite this, people are willing to pay for its extraction. In the background of the drawing, you can see a distant sea, ships on land, and dry land. All elements show the consequences of climate change, but if you look closely at the cracks, you can see the grass. Despite active evaporation this year in the Mangystau region, it rained more frequent. As we know, the city of Aktau is known for its desert steppe and low precipitation. The green grass symbolizes our hopes for the future. Even after the drying up of a large area, green grass is growing there, so we hope that climate change will leave something else in place of the Caspian Sea. To combat global warming, we must first eliminate the factors contributing to it, such as oil. Instead, people should switch to environmentally friendly alternatives. These changes can also bring new opportunities. People should not forget about the environment and nature.
