Climate Change Hope: Transforming Crisis

Reflection

Art and film are both my lifelong hobbies, which is why I decided to make a stop motion film despite the long hours it took. Climate change has several impacts, but also many solutions, a lot of which I included in the separate segments of my video. The avatar with an Earth-resembling head in the solutions segment of the video to show that anyone could be that “person” in the video helping out. I also used a gradually uplifting music to remind viewers that though it may not be easy, if everyone takes a step forward there can be ways to help stop and slow climate change. When I was younger, my family drove to and spent time at the Fisherman’s Wharf every weekend. I hope to do the same with my family after I become an adult, but everyday that possibility grows dimmer, and will continue to until people realize that there is hope in this crisis.
