Reflection
Future. We spend almost all of our lives preparing for it, while we chart its unwritten chapters down with ink spilled out of our own battered wills and struggles. Yet it is a paradox of all sorts because despite this incessant need to plan out our circumstances, we fail to realize that the very fabric that is holding our timelines together is falling apart at this very moment. Our world is dying. Our oceans are unraveling, our climate is changing and we humans are the corrupting force behind all of it. Our destinies rely on us saving the Earth, saving our oceans, one solid step at a time. Change needs to start now, in both the large and small endeavors, in the loud and silent miracles, in all of us. Throughout this experience, our group has learned that every single effort counts in this lifelong battle for our oceans. Everyone is capable of preserving our seas and reversing the course of the Earth's destiny. We just have to act decisively. Be the ones who make a stand, the ones who are not afraid nor unwilling to make a difference. Our world has kept, is keeping, and will keep us alive for as long as it can. It is that selfless, that giving. Now the destiny of our world, our oceans, is in your hands, in all of ours. Can we save it? We can and we will.
