Reflection

My work was heavily inspired by the melting of the glaciers. Animals like penguins, seals, and other amazing creatures are sure to go extinct if the glaciers continue to melt, and that breaks my heart as I’ve been an animal enthusiast my whole life. I decided to go with a humorous illustration to showcase the horrors of extinction in the wild. One would never think a T-Rex would encounter a penguin, but it’s not far off for them to meet in the pearly gates of Heaven. I want people to see my art and get a good chuckle, but know that this is a real problem and penguins don’t deserve to be gone just yet.
