Reflection

This is a picture of Kiribati, an island that’s about to be submerged forever. To signify this danger, I painted the sky red. The water is red as it reflects the sky. To show that it is us who cause global warming, I drew a business man's hand. Trees are being cut down or burned to make money (represented by the crossed-out tree on the domino), so the hand is coming out of the $100 bill. The cutting down and burning of trees contributes to global warming, which causes icebergs to melt and the water level to rise. After learning about this, I have decided to not waste water and to do my part in saving the earth.
