Reflection

While researching water, I learned that half the population has gone through a drought, and millions of people struggle to get enough water. On the other hand, floods and tsunamis are some of the most common yet destructive natural disasters. Although the human body is roughly about seventy percent water, some struggle to get water in dry areas. Some places get flooded with water and suffer from too much water. This contrast was the main inspiration for my artwork. From one side of the piece, you can see there is barely any water and that the ground is also cracking. In contrast, the other side is flooded and destroying the land.
