Clean water is the most essential ingredient in life and is necessary for good health. Water pollution is a rising global issue that is damaging the quality of life for many. Over a billion people worldwide do not have access to clean drinking water. Our waterways are all connected, a small stream of polluted water can lead to our oceans creating significant problems. We all deserve clean drinking water, and we must do our part in taking care of water. Water is a key element to a healthy environment and must be protected. I created this short dance film to spread awareness about this concerning issue in the hopes that many will start to care more about the environment around them. There are many simple ways that we can help reduce water pollution. A few of these ideas include: properly disposing of trash and other pollutants; reducing, reusing, recycling; contributing money and time; electing leaders who share this vision and will continue to represent people who care for our environment; and supporting businesses that make environmentally friendly decisions. By taking actions, we can prevent worsening global complications and promote a future with clean drinking water for all.
