Reflection

After reading several articles about Anuar Abdullah and climate & ocean awareness in general, I learned a lot more about what our planet Earth and the wild creatures are experiencing. Anuar Abdullah is a Malaysian oceanographer who is dedicated to clearing discarded fishing nets from the bottom of Asian seas. My drawing is trying to show the struggling and choking circumstances that those creatures are experiencing everyday due to human activities. Anuar Abdullah has a quote which says “We still have pristine places on earth. People should get involved with any kind of conservation. Not just the coral reef…if these places are damaged then we have nothing left’.
