Reflection

When I came up with the idea for my song “Ethereal Forest”, I was thinking about the theme and how I could tie a song into it. I ended up having an idea of just using nature and wind chime sound effects and then trying to build a song on top of it. That is essentially what I ended up doing. When I was exploring the theme, I learned that there are so many ways to appreciate the different types of nature around us, and I think this creative process helped me realize that. My message to the listeners is: Appreciate your own local nature, and instead of just passively walking by it, take it in and appreciate it for what it is. When I was creating and composing this song, I felt a deep creative connection to the work of producing it, and it was really fun to do. I’m excited to do this next year as well. Thank you.
