Reflection
This piece of art was created to show the Earth’s current situation and how bad it's looking, from forest fires to endangered animals to polluted oceans. The clock was used to show how things can/will change over time if we continue to pollute our oceans and throw garbage in it like it’s a dumpster. Sea life will soon become endangered and some species may even become extinct if we keep continuing like this. However, if we all unite to solve this crisis of our oceans, then it may revert back to its beautiful original state that it was years ago. Our waters are meant to be beautiful safe havens diverse with life and not a garbage hole. While creating this artwork, I felt strongly that global warming is an astronomical issue and that if we continue on our current course, it may become increasingly severe and possibly unsolvable. I wanted to base my art piece on the issue itself and the possible future rather than focus on what's already been done.
