“Gas emissions cause global warming”. Alright, but how does this really affect us? In this video, I dive into a more realistic and relatable aspect of Global Warming: extreme weather events that lead to serious consequences such as “Floods”. Floods started to occupy part of my life as a serious problem recently, as they cause significant problems during summer such as unabling transportation, damaging facilities, and even causing casualties. The video deals not only with current flood occurrences around the globe but also how they are associated with global warming. It also offers some suggestions on what “we” can do to prevent further chaos. The key message of the video is “We already had enough talk, so where are the actions?” I strongly believe that what we need is actions that bring change since the majority of people are already informed about the seriousness of global warming. Does it seem true that people harm nature because they do not know what the consequences will be? What we need to tell them is what we should do instead of theoretical parts like what global warming is or how it is caused. And before that, we ourselves, need to show model behaviors of relieving the effects of global warming. Anyone can do it! Actions do not have to be great in scale or costly. Remember, the key is constant, daily actions.
