Reflection

Throughout the process of scriptwriting, tediously animating, getting rained on while animating in my backyard, and meticulously editing, I have had my goal in mind: spreading climate awareness, determination, and hope. What I want people to take away from this video is that, if we band together, take action, and make sacrifices, we can turn this calamity around. Through my research, I've learned about many different solutions to the climate crisis, and I will incorporate these into my life whenever possible. However, it isn't just small, personal commitments that will save the planet. What truly gives me hope is seeing so many people standing up against the climate crisis, banding together to save what we all hold dear. Looking through past submissions to this contest and pictures of climate strikes, I feel a newfound determination to join the fight. Starting with this one video, I will speak out for our planet with those who share my passion, either through projects like this or through events like climate strikes. I will stand up against injustice, put my all into finding ways to save the world, and most importantly, spread this flame of hope with which we are forging our future.
