Growing up in Cresskill, New Jersey, I observed firsthand the severe repercussions of climate change manifested in the persistent floods that impacted our community. These personal encounters motivated me to communicate my narrative and enhance awareness regarding the critical need to address climate change. The amalgamation of my personal encounters and the aspiration to enact change guided my artistic process. I am drawn to the arts due to their ability to serve as a potent platform for conveying intricate emotions and concepts, rendering significant messages such as those concerning climate change more accessible and influential. The process of crafting this creation evoked sentiments of nostalgia, sorrow, and optimism. Revisiting the floods and their consequences was challenging, yet it also fortified my resolve to contribute to constructive transformation. The act of producing the artwork proved to be a therapeutic journey, enabling me to channel my emotions into a purposeful outlet. My communication to the audience is that climate change is not a remote menace but an immediate reality that impacts us all. Through my narrative, I aspire to motivate others to take action, both individually and collectively, to safeguard our planet for forthcoming generations.
