Reflection
Reflection

The beginning of our video is inspired by the stop motion ASAP science videos on YouTube and we came up with the idea to make it seem as if you are watching a video within a video. The ending of the video ends with a "Pause" on the screen to symbolize that it's your turn to make a change. We chose to use animation because our target audience is students our age - who are more likely to learn from something 'fun.' As the video progresses, I begin to speak directly to the audience and use real-life footage to show that this isn't something that's just fun. The aim of our video is both to shock and confront the audience on this serious matter. The use of the dramatic pauses were designed to leave our audience uncomfortable and give them time to reflect on their own actions and what we can all do to find a solution.
