Reflection

Last summer, I had the opportunity to work with NATRX on a patent to incorporate natural vegetation to improve and stabilize natural slopes. The concrete modules use basalt fibers to encourage plant growth. The company’s motto “ crafted into nature” guides both the technological approach and design. We ought to look to nature itself for environmental solutions. My piece, “Geoecomorphology” is a representation of natural processes and how they beautifully shape earth’s structures even without human intervention. I learned a lot from the entire NATRX team about applying environmentally inspired technologies in order solve environmental problems.
