Reflection

The Earth is a beautiful thing in the vastness of the universe. Earth’s ocean covers 71% of its surface with liquid water, creating a geographical landscape unique to our planet. It not only gives the Earth a fascinating blue hue but also is the cradle of life. Nonetheless, the global climate warms, glaciers melt, and the water level rises year by year, gradually flooding our homes. Moreover, too many high-rise buildings and factories cover the Earth, exacerbating the climate crisis. My painting aims to shows our current situation: the ocean is overflowing, and our homes are submerged. However, hope prevails as people from different continents join hands and take action to hold up the Earth. We swim with magnificent fish in the starry universe. We need to protect the ocean as our closest friend. I hope that people can live in harmony with nature, overcome the climate crisis, and heal the world.
