How Did You End Up Here?

Reflection
Reflection

This piece was inspired by the rare incident of an Antarctic Adelie penguin accidentally landing on the ocean shore of New Zealand. This penguin was separated from its herd and lost its way, and ended up swimming approximately 3,000 km. The rising water temperatures may have affected the hunting route of the penguins. Through my work, I hope to point out the seriousness of climate change in a humorous and satirical manner. This piece asks the question: how did you end up here? The question is directed to the Adelie penguin, but also to us humans watching the destruction of the planet caused by climate change.
