Hydro’s Overcast

Reflection

The film "Hydro's Overcast" conveys the theme of change and hope. Our main protagonist, Hydro, a florist, comes across devastating problems during his journey in the waters. He makes it his goal to fight against climate change to protect our planet’s gift, the ocean. I was inspired to create this film by fellow activists around my age, seeing that no matter your age, you can make a difference. During the creation of this film, I realized our animals are suffering way more than we think they are, which follows into my message to the world: “Plant a tree because even this one small action can do so much for its residents and its connections with others.” The ocean is an ineffable gift we must cherish because, one day, it will eventually leave us. I hope to raise awareness so that when the day comes, we and our sea companions get to live on a more salubrious planet than before.
