Climate change raises the temperature of ocean higher and higher, together with the pollution such as microplastics, our oceans are becoming less like homes for creatures, as if there are thorns that harms the nurture of life. When I was researching about climate change, an important thing that I learned was that climate change isn’t something that can be stopped by solely oneself or just a small group of individuals, but it’s more important to spread the awareness. Climate change will be solved if everyone realized our responsibility for our planet and took actions. Thinking about spreading awareness, internet is the most powerful tool to spread information to the masses. Thus, I want to convince people to use the power of internet to spread awareness on climate change. Throughout the process of creating this artwork, I felt senses of crisis at the start and then hopeful, because although the challenges of improving our oceans are difficult, I want people to be brave and positive, as if it is a battle led by Julius Caesar against climate change. If we can unite and work together, it won’t seem so impossible! Besides having good habits such as saving energy and recycling throughout my daily life, I am also willing to volunteer in events in my community in regards to climate change, and I hope I can give people a better understanding on climate change, bringing more people to be involved in protecting our planet.
