Ice Scalping

Reflection

My drawing shows the penguins in a heated frenzy due to the affects of global warming, destroying the ice mounds and melting. An ice cream machine and an ice machine stand next to each other, with the ice machine charging 10 dollars for 1 pound, which inspired the title. As I researched climate change, I felt sadness towards the penguins and ice animals and felt obligated to illustrate what they feel but in a humorous way. But, in reality it is a great tragedy what is happening to these poor penguins, and I feel as if their pain isn’t heard.
