Reflection

I am a graduate of Orrville High School in Ohio, and I heard about this project from my college-level oceanography class. After spending the semester studying Earth’s dynamic ocean systems, I became very passionate about ocean education and preservation. I decided I would submit a film project in hopes of bringing more awareness to climate change. During high school I was also the president of our Earth Science Club, where we went hiking and promoted an environmentally healthy community. Next fall, I plan on attending West Virginia University. I will be majoring in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with a minor in Communications. I aspire to become a National Park ranger and continue educating people on environmental topics while giving back to my community and nature.
