Reflection

I was born and raised in Beijing, but I enjoy visiting the oceanside during my breaks. Yet, every time I visit, the ocean visits me with another layer of grim blue. The changes are noticeable to my eye. When I visited Sanya 5 years ago, I could still see my feet embracing the warm touch of the sand. However, when I visited a year ago, I could barely see my feet underwater, replaced by trash that somehow ended up in the ocean. My message behind my film is a call-to-action for people to start making a change. Start with a single action—no action is a “small action,” every action counts.
