Reflection

The very first question that initiated our creation for this website is: Why are people so indifferent to climate change? After scrambling through articles, we found a shared trait: climate change tends to be addressed in a serious and complex manner which brings disinterest in readers, especially those who are not already passionate about social issues. We decided to talk about climate change in a different way than most media outlets. We hope to bring climate change, especially its effects on our oceans, to readers in a friendly and sarcastic tone. From writing to illustrating, we conveyed the detrimental effects of climate change in a casual yet critical manner. We wish to bring information regarding this issue closer to the public, especially those who are unaware of the urgent conditions of our oceans.
