My drawing was inspired by the hotness that we get in the city where I live, it has been increasing over the years to the point that Winter doesn't feel like it anymore. It's almost the same as Summer. We also get some problems with water, due to the heatness it evaporates and other cities have to provide it to us. In this artwork, I wanted to show the situation by showing how the girl in the picture wonders what happened to winter. The fire behind her represents the suffer behind all of us that experience extreme changes in climate change. The Earth she's holding in her hand is transparent because it shows how we can see the problem but we don't do anything about it we just take it as if didn't matter as if we couldn't see it, like glass. This artwork has an important message that shows how we could be in the future if we continue to ignore these issues, in desperation, stress, and wondering why we didn't do anything before. Climate change is not that easy to fight, and that if we continue to loose the battle by 2050 we will have such heatness, specially where I live that there's predictions we will have 43 whole days of 106°F. That some places will be affected due to that the poles are melting. There's many ways that can really make a difference, such as just basically use less energy at home, by turning off the lights we are making something really helpful. Also try to not use cars that much or use the public transport but if you'd prefer not to I'd recommend getting an electric vehicle. Even eating more vegetables help, not only for your health but to prevent climate change, because these foods make less waste which the smallest difference we make, can make a lot of contribution.
