Last Drop of Hope

Reflection
Due to climate change and pollution by us humans, natural disasters such as drought and rising waters are increasing yearly at a rapid pace. I learned that many parts of our planet are being desertified, leaving nothing but an arid space of dryland. The planet at the top of my art is Earth that has been completely desertified, now unrecognizable with all the blues and greens vanished. The water droplet leaking out of the water hose tap stuck on Earth is a representation of 'last hope' since it is a 'last droplet' left on earth. Below, I drew buildings and factories to show that the pollution from these man-made things is the cause of the increasing frequency with which we are dealing with natural disasters. If we can take a step back to think about our planet and our future, realizing the damage we have caused to our beautiful planet and taking steps to fix it, my art will not become a reality.
