Reflection

Algal blooms have become a more looming issue in the recent years than expected. The cause of HABs is fertilization runoff that overfeeds toxins, releasing algal that goes to sea mammals, freshwater fish, shellfish, and more. HABs has such as tremendous reach on our ecosystem that I never previously imagined. This piece symbolizes my journey of expression and warning towards the oncoming threat of HABs that can eventually clench onto our marine life.
