Reflection
We created a whiteboard stop-motion animation about plastic pollution and ocean acidification threatening marine species. We've heard a lot about climate change in school and other internet media, but we realized many people are not really aware of the consequences of climate change or just don't care because they think it is not directly affecting them, and they feel distant. In this film, we wanted to explain about plastic pollution and ocean acidification by using simple examples. One of the scenes in this film shows fish on a plate; they started to disappear one-by-one. This was designed to show how harming marine life could affect people directly. Some of the ways for the general public to prevent climate change are difficult, but there are also small things that we can do easily, such as recycling plastic. Changing the world may not have touched your heart yet, but it always seems impossible until it's done.
