When I was creating my artwork, I was hopping on a lawn full of wild flowers, on a day when the weather was pretty nice, and the clouds were the whitest and cleanest in the big blue world. I didn’t see any house among the waves of grass but did see some towering trees near the end of the sunshine. I ran down the path. It was a beautiful forest that made me feel like Alice in wonderland. I hid in the woods from the sun, but some light still shined through to show me the way. I was hopping on the cement road. A car rush past. it was not safe to run freely, I thought. The noise from the construction and logging hurt my ears. I couldn’t breathe because of the dust and the scandal of the factories. I couldn’t see anything. I couldn’t see the blue sky and flowers anymore . I only saw the light of the street lamps and the yellow and brown then nothing else. For a moment, I thought I was blind. Or maybe, I really was. I know that I couldn’t be Alice. So I tried to get back to the past, to our home that was complete and perfect. I went back. Back to my world without any factory. I hope there’s someone else who could escape from the painful world and come for the wonderland. After doing research on climate change, I learnt that climate change is caused by burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests and population growth. It will harm people by causing more frequent and intense droughts, bad weather, sea levels rise and melting glaciers. I don’t think humans can survive in this environment for long, and that is why we need to take action. If you are a good citizen, you could try to help us to survive by low carbon travel, landscaping and reducing emissions. Come on, don’t you want to live in a cool world?
