Reflection
Reflection

It is good to educate ourselves on things that destroy our planet, like ocean pollution. But, when you hear all these devastating facts it can leave a person feeling hopeless and helpless. When I began my research for this project I felt overwhelmed with all the horrible facts about plastic pollution. I could only see the negatives at first. Once I found the ways I could help, my hopeless feeling turned into an excited and happy feeling. So in my film, I didn’t want to discourage people by telling them all our problems. I want to encourage them by sharing solutions. With my film, I presented the information on plastic pollution in an entertaining way that hopefully empowers people to make a change when it comes to plastic. That simple thought is what inspired my film. I tried to present as many solutions as I could find and really encourage people to take on a big role in this issue. I felt that if the same information is presented in a new way it has a better chance to affect people.
