Reflection

In my art, I tried to reflect my point of view on this subject. In the middle of my art, I drew a girl who is actually Mother Earth. She is slowly losing control of the actions going around Earth; this means she is dying. Mother Earth is holding her child, Ocean in her hands. She is trying to help Ocean cling to life, with her tears, but she can't do this alone. We should give everything we have to this Earth, our home, our life. We have to reach Mother Earth with our actions, but if we go on like this, my art will become our future. I believe we are in this situation because the oil companies are addicted to money and power. That is why I drew oil reservoirs around the globe and oil pumps working on them. When you look at my picture, you can see Mother Earth and Ocean are threatened by oil and the industries working on them. This the reason Mother Earth is covered by oil and is unable to move. Oil is holding and poisoning her.
